We are delighted to welcome Daniela Reboli to the CBM Lifemotion family as our new Director of Global Product Management. An Italian national, Daniela will be based at CBM’s global headquarters in Shenzhen, China, where she will lead the company’s global product management strategy.
Daniela brings extensive international expertise in ECMO and life support technology, with experience spanning the entire product journey—from early prototyping to global launch and adoption. She has worked closely with clinicians, R&D teams, and commercial operations, giving her a true 360° perspective on what it takes to bring innovation from concept to bedside.
To mark her arrival, we asked Daniela a few questions about her vision for Lifemotion and what inspires her in her work.
What attracted you to CBM and to the opportunity of leading Global Product Management?
“I identified CBM as a dynamic and fast-growing company. This role allows me to contribute to meaningful innovation while also challenging myself in a new environment. Expanding Lifemotion’s global footprint and strengthening our portfolio to improve patient care worldwide is a mission that inspires me every day.”
From your perspective, what are the most important priorities for Lifemotion’s product strategy right now?
“The key priorities are to fine-tune and consolidate our current, highly reliable product portfolio, and to expand the Lifemotion brand. This means strengthening our presence in existing markets while also entering new ones, spreading these advanced solutions globally to improve patient care everywhere.”
How do you see your role contributing to innovation and adoption of ECMO technology worldwide?
“My previous global role gave me a 360-degree view of the entire product lifecycle—from prototyping to full market release and the commercial strategies needed for market penetration. Having also worked within manufacturing, I gained a deep understanding of the internal processes required to bring projects to fruition. This background, combined with daily collaboration with clinicians and internal teams, enables me to manage product lines comprehensively, balancing new product development with market strategy.”
What will be your focus in connecting clinical needs, product development, and market expansion?
“My main focus is to guide and actively contribute to the development of products that fully meet customer needs. The ultimate goal is to generate revenue while creating reliable and effective solutions for patient care.”
On a personal note, what inspires you in your work, and what keeps you motivated outside the office?
“What inspires me most is building strong, synergistic relationships with my manager and colleagues. Quality relationships make all the difference. I am also motivated by being part of a company that is flexible, values my input, provides opportunities for growth, and trusts me with autonomy to act in alignment with company goals.”
